WELCOME TO MIP PRESIDENT BLOG!

Salam and greeting to all friends and colleagues.

This is my first time creating a blog for me to communicate and exchange ideas and knowledge with all fellow town planners, professionals, students, NGOs, local authorities, friends and colleagues in Malaysia and around the world on matters pertaining to town (urban) planning, sustainability, urbanism, urban design and conservation, ICT and GIS (Geographical Information Systems) technologies in planning, planning education, planning practices, etc.

From time to time I will be writing and giving my views and comments on matters, news and events which are occurring in Malaysia and elsewhere. I will be also updating programs and events to be undertaken by the Malaysian Institute of Planners (MIP) within my tenure as the President of MIP. I do hope that we can exchange ideas and knowledge to enhance town planning profession particularly in Malaysia.
